2014 World Breastfeeding Week Celebration Event

Breastfeed Chicago’s World Breastfeeding Week Celebration Event will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 12pm – 3pm at the Drucker Center (1535 N. Dayton St. Chicago, IL 60642).   The event will include speakers and workshops, breastfeeding-friendly vendors, children’s activities, and an exclusive Chicago Latches-On event.

  • The Drucker Center (1535 N. Dayton Street Chicago, IL 60642) is located within a 2 minute walk of the North & Clybourn Red Line Station.  Click here for walking directions.  Enter on the South side of the building through the parking lot.
  • Bicycle parking is available along the south side of the building.
  • Bus information: Halsted #8 bus stop is at Halsted & Blackhawk (walk 3 minutes) or North Ave #72 bus is at North & Clybourn (walk 2 minutes).  Enter on the South Side of the building.
  • Parking:  Lot available on Southwest corner of Dayton and Blackhawk.   Overflow parking options: Street parking; paid lots at Freemont and Weed (cash or credit) and paid parking at the REI at Halsted and Blackhawk.  Click here for map.
