Lactation Consultant Directory

An Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is the gold standard in lactation care. This directory of IBCLC lactation consultants that serve the Chicagoland area is not an endorsement of any particular professional; it is simply a resource directory. Be sure to do your homework and interview before you hire!

We support the American Academy of Pediatrics’ recommendations to breastfeed exclusively for the first six months of life, with continuation of breastfeeding for at least the first year. We believe in each baby’s right to receive breastmilk, and each mother’s right to provide it. It is our mission to help you give your baby the best start in life by breastfeeding, and we will strive to help you meet your breastfeeding goals.
